Argon KK, the quickdraw used by the Big at The North Face
Kalymnos Climbing Festival

The second edition of The North Face Kalymnos Climbing Festival has just finished, and remains among the most important events of the world for lovers of this sport. With more than 540 climbers from 24 countries across the world and 16 of the world's strongest climbers, emotions are not missed. The location gave excellent days of summer and the 2000 and more routes have left no room for monotony. Kong was present also this year as technical sponsor and the routes of the competition wereequipped with Argon KK sets that have proven an excellent choice due tothe gate handling and the wide opening of rope connector. During the opening ceremony on Thursday evening Kong donated to the Kalymnos municipality the rescue stretcher model Lecco, a personal contribution tobring on the island an important message of safety.
Kong is everywhere somebody climbs!

HHO, new harness for rescue professionals

Innovative harness designed to help the access at the dorsal attachment point even during carrying on the shoulder of material (oxygen tanks, backpack, etc ...)
The wide breathable padding protects the back and speeds up the dressing, the yellow fluorescent finishing enhance visibility during emergency maneuvers. Also available in Turbo version with quick buckles on the leg loops.

QRK, quick release system for intervention Fast Ropes

Mouse HV, another new version of the popular and appreciated helmet

The Kong R&D department is always looking forinnovative solutions to meet customer needs. In this case it is a product for a small niche market, extremelytechnological and performing.
QRK is a quick release specifically designed for the fastrelease of the rope used during rapid evacuation from helicopters. QRK is available in three versions to fit all kinds of hooks and fast-ropes. The opening mechanism works by pushing a wide button with safety pin. Certified for simultaneous use up to a maximum of 12 people.

The helmet Mouse HV is also available in Work version certified CE EN 397 with anti-suffocation chin strap.

New FULL rigging plate, a very useFull device!

Innovative three holes rigging plate certified EN 795/B for 5 people,
it can also be used as a brake for rapelling with single or double ropes.
It is a very useful device for rescue operations, the natural choice for mountain experts.
It allows a cleaner belay point avoiding tricky and cumbersome chains of carabiners and plates.
The wide upper hole is able to accommodate two connectors for an higher safety.
When used as a descender device, it works with ropes from 8 to 12 mm.
Made of hot forged light aluminum alloy, it weighs only 90g.
Completely made in Italy!

PANIC, distant anchor points are no longer a problem

PANIC is fitted with:
a tubular webbing lenght 30 cm with an inner flexible bar that allows to obtain the required bent
a special connector equipped with an ingenious system that keeps open the gate until it comes into contact with the bolt.
At this point the mechanism releases the gate and the connector closes automatically.
The mechanism prevents accidental opening of the lever when it is under load.
